Maurizio Donadelli

Maurizio Donadelli is a “social” entrepreneur.

He has always been active in both the profit and non-profit organizations in order to achieve a mutual “contamination” between the positive aspects of the two ways of doing business. His thirty-year presence in associations at the local, national and international level, together with his experience of administrator in public institutions, has allowed Maurizio to understand the balance between human and economic factor.

Co-founder of Banca Popolare Etica and currently on the board of a Foundation, Maurizio is also an angel investor at H-Farmventures.


Emanuele Carminati Molina

President at Valextra, Italy

Emanuele Carminati Molina began his career in 1975 in Bergamo, Italy at MIB, a specialist fur tannery founded by his father, the surveyor Joseph Carminati.

Here he progressed from the position of clerk to Company Director and CEO. Following the death of his father in 1996, he took over the direction of Carfin 92, a company active in real estate development in the tertiary sector and administration in the municipality of Milan. Carfin 92 are the owners of several companies and some of the most famous building complexes in the city, such as the Vodafone complex and others in the Lorenteggio Business District.

In the year 2000, he acquired Valextra Spa, a luxury Milanese brand with a prestigious history, producing top-of-the-range luxury accessories, where he is currently President and CEO.

Benjamin Joffe

Digital naturalist, startup therapist, public speaker and angel investor

Benjamin Joffe is a leading expert on Asia’s startup ecosystems and lived in China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia for 12 years as the founder of the digital strategy firm Plus Eight Star and has served clients such as Microsoft, Harvard Business School, MIH, Tumblr and is frequently quoted in media such as Forbes, BusinessWeek, the New York Times and TechCrunch.

Benjamin is advising startups at 6 accelerators including 500 Startups and is an angel investor in 10 companies including Cmune (China), makers of Facebook’s largest shooter game UberStrike, and Gengo (Japan), the world’s leading crowdsourced translation platform.

Benjamin speaks fluently English, Japanese and French, and enough Mandarin, Spanish and Korean to get by and has spoken at over 150 events across 22 countries.


Paolo Giovine

Partner at H-Farm, Italy

Born in Italy in 1972, Paolo Giovine collaborates with many cultural initiatives in his home town of Turin. As well as serving as a Partner at publishing house, Lindau, Paulo also held several positions within the publishing group, “L’Espresso”. From 2005 to 2011 he was General Manager of Radio&TV Area, a leading operator in the Italian private radio sector. Since 2010, he has invested in the creation of a new publishing platform for tablets, which also aims to create wonderful books for his three kids. Since 2011, he is also a partner of H-Farmventures, the largest Venture Incubator in Italy.

I am honored to participate in the adventure of Luca, Erwan and Nadia, three amazing wizards of fantasy. I hope to learn from them how to turn dreams into fantastic digital objects. Curious Hat has important and ambitious goals. For them it is not just a question of money.

Fabrizio Capobianco

Serial Entrepreneur & President at Funambol, California

Fabrizio Capobianco is President and Chairman of the Board of Funambol. He has extensive expertise in the mobile industry, with work experience that includes Reuters and Tibco. He is a successful entrepreneur, having founded several Italian high-tech companies. Fabrizio has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pavia, Italy, with a focus on usability. He has been recognized as a top ’40 under 40′ high-tech leader and mobile visionary. He also writes a blog that was recently voted among the best in the industry by FierceWireless.

The Curious Hat team is phenomenal. Luca and Erwan combine so many years of experience in their field. They will build something spectacular for sure.

Jonathan Lindo

VP of Engineering , Mobile Solutions, CA Technologies

Jonathan Lindo is passionate about improving the way software is built and delivered. He has co-founded several startups, including Replay Solutions, acquired by CA Technologies in 2012. Jonathan’s research has resulted in 16 patents for technologies, including high performance networking, application virtualization, and the record/replay of computer programs.  He is a frequent speaker on software lifecycle best practices and enjoys engaging audiences to uncover new ideas around using technology to improve the lives of software teams.

Michele Simonato

Co-founder & CEO at Shicon US inc.

Michele Simonato is an entrepreneur, interested in disruptive business models and design-driven innovation. He is currently CEO at Shicon Europe and Partner at TMRW Venture Club. He is also a Professor and Marketing Area Coordinator at IED (European Institute of Design) in Milan. He has launched and managed four companies each in different industries, such as food and beverage, marketing, design and web. He co-founded the Innovation Lab at Collegio di Milano, as well as a business association focused on lateral thinking in Milan.
